Luke Whiting
Board Member
As Chief Exec, Luke provides strategic leadership to ensure the vision and ambitions of ALD are achieved through establishing and delivering strong corporate objectives, overseeing business performance, as well as product ideation and innovation.
Chris Adams
Board Member
After qualifying as a solicitor, Chris spent more than 30 years in legal practice as a partner with a leading East Midlands law firm. In addition to providing professional advice to businesses, he led teams and departments and served on the firm`s management board. Chris also chairs a local youth charity, helping youngsters with limited life chances. Chris is a NED of Yarway Group, where he supports with business and legal oversight and critical analysis.

Sarah Jeffery

Sarah has worked at Active Learning for over 3 years and is a specialist in Qualifications and Apprenticeships. She currently administers the Qualifications for all ALD students. If you have any queries about qualifications, registrations, assessment or certification then call us and ask for Sarah
Louise Bickley MCIPD Bsc
Office Team
Louise administrates the office at ALD and is your central point of contact for all general queries. Get in touch with her if you are interested in attending one of our new remote online leadership courses.
Zoe Park

Zoe is responsible for all production and logistics at ALD. She collates all materials and ensures the quality of all workbooks and portfolios that leave ALD for our clients and learners. She is also responsible for ensuring out trainers get the resources they need on time every time.

Nick Johnson, CIPD, DET
Expert Associate
Nick is an experienced Learning and Development Specialist with over 25 years’ in training, coaching and consultancy from levels 2 to 7. He specialises in leadership development, change management, personal resilience, and performance management.
He has managed and delivered leadership and coaching qualification programmes, consultancy projects and coaching assignments, and believes that people learn best from experience and applying theory and best practice to real issues.
Chris Brown
Expert Associate
Chris is a level 7 coach, assessor and verifier. He has nearly 20 years experience in coaching, developing, and training individuals and teams in a broad range of organisational settings. He passionately believes coaching is the future of the development of leadership as part of strategy, and of organisational people management. He empowers clients to take control of their personal development.
Denis Compton
Expert Associate
Ex –Head of Business & Professional Studies of an FE College, Denis has been involved in vocational qualifications for over 30 years. A BTEC/Edexcel moderator and external verifier/EQA for 19 years, he was also a Centre Quality Verifier for BTEC. Denis has been an associate assessor and internal verifier/IQA with ALD Ltd since 2004, working on a range of programmes from NVQ2 to Level 7 Strategic Leadership.
