What is this training?
This is classroom based vocational training, specially designed for Senior Managers in the Fire and Rescue services
Who is it for?
The training is designed for new and existing Senior Managers and provides the Strategic Management and Leadership skills they need to be effective at work
What does it consist of?
The training is modular, delivered in 2 or 3 day sessions, in order to provide new knowledge and skills that can be practiced in the workplace between the modules. The modules comprise:
- Professional Development for Strategic Managers
- Strategic Quality & Systems Management and Project Management
- Strategic Human Resource Management
- Managing Financial Principles and Techniques
- Strategic Marketing Management
- Strategic Change Management
- Developing Strategic Management & Leadership Skills
How long does this training take?
The average programme consists of a total of 15 days training, split into modules of 2-3 days with 6-8 weeks between the modules
Who delivers this training?
Your training will be delivered by a selection of qualified and occupationally competent trainers, who have specialist knowledge of Strategic Management and Leadership requirements at this level in the Fire & Rescue Services
What are the results you can expect after this training?
Senior Managers will have the knowledge and skills required to provide effective Strategic Leadership in a broad range of areas across their Fire & Rescue Service
